  • NJHS: The t-shirt designs are posted in Mrs. Ski’s room. Be sure to vote on them by TODAY.
  • Early Release: Please Release the 8th grade Volleyball Teams at 2:10 today so that they can be dressed and on the bus by 2:25 for their matches at Hillside.
  • Items are starting to pile up in the cafeteria Lost and Found. If you’ve lost anything recently, please check to see if your item is there.
  • The library will be quiet study for first lunch today.  Quiet study means individual reading or homework--no groups.  This means there will be no cardboard building teams today.  We will get back to building next week!
  • Also, everyone building for the cardboard challenge in the library will be entered in a drawing for free April Henry books!  You still have time to build next week!
  • April Henry is a mystery/suspense author who will be visiting East October 12th.  Come check out one of her books in the library!
  • Attention: Dress up the door teams…..don’t forget your door decorations need to be complete by Tuesday!!
  • The 8th grade tennis tournament finally happened after a reschedule and a 3 hour rain delay Thursday morning. Way to finish a strong season East! Here are your top finishers:
  • Chris Schaefer - 5th place Boys Singles
  • Minjae Kim & Jimin Ryu - 6th place Boys Doubles
  • Betsy Thompson - 1st place Girls Singles and New City Champion!

Team points are still being tallied and will be announced next week.

  • Don’t forget next week is spirit week - Monday is flannel/plaid day! The 3rd period class with the highest percentage of people dressed up will win donuts, so wear your plaid or flannel!!!
  • Today in intramurals we have team Schmautz vs team Lyle during 1st lunch and team Garman vs team Elder during 2nd lunch. Hope to see you all out there!
