Welcome to 7th Grade World Studies!!!


What will I learn in World Studies 7- Africa and Asia?  This course will 

focus on the history, geography, and culture of Asia and Africa.  During the 

first half of the school year we will study units on physical geography, 

prehistory, ancient history of early civilizations, in addition to the physical 

and cultural studies of North Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia.  The 

second half of the school year includes studying the history, physical 

geography, and cultural features of China, Southeast Asia, Japan, the 

Koreas, and Sub-Saharan Africa. (District Curriculum – Course Description)
