Driver’s Ed at Timberline starts on August 27th.  Classes are 4:30-6:30 Tuesday and Thursdays. Please check the BSD website or call Mr. Norman at 208-859-1073 for more information


Any 9th grade boys interested in playing lacrosse for Timberline this year registration is OPEN until August 24th.  Please check out the website at www.timberlinelax.com for more information


Attention all 8th graders it is not too late to join Tennis this year.  Come see Coach Giltzow for information on the season or come to practice at 2:40 today.


East Football is still out recruiting and we need YOU! Come be a part of our family! First 10 to join are guaranteed donuts and milkshakes! Please talk to Coach Amburgey or Coach Arteaga in Room 108. Go Hornets!


The library will be closed for second lunch unless you have a pass from a teacher or librarian.


If you are interested in joining the East Robotics team please sign up with Mr. Biggs in Rm 222. His room is next to the library. If you are not sure about joining, plan on attending the first meeting @ lunch on Monday the 26th.


Just a reminder for all students walking or riding bikes to school - if you need to cross Warm Springs, please use the crosswalk and press the button for the caution lights.  If the lights are not flashing cars may not stop for you! Be safe!


Attention musicians!  East Jazz Band is starting up this week!  We are looking for any musicians that may be interested in bass, guitar, piano and anything else that might make a great addition to our ensemble.  In Jazz Band we will learn fun musical styles such as swing, blues, rock, funk, and Latin, as well as participate in many exciting events including the Gene Harris Jazz Festival.  Our first meeting will be tomorrow after school. Attention Hornets! Journalism Club is looking for writers and editors. It’s a great opportunity to report on events happening at school and in the community. Journalism Club will be meeting next Thursday in room 111 during 1st lunch and in the library during 9th grade lunch. Stop by room 111 for more information or visit us in the cafeteria on Friday. All are welcome.


Yearbook will have a photobooth set-up during both lunches tomorrow in the cafeteria. Stop by with friends and strike-a-pose. Also, we want to hear about your summer! Stop by to complete our first student poll of the year.
